Standalone React component. Styles are included.
npm install [email protected]Render the default export inside a container with a defined height. Its optional active prop stops movement when false. This example works with React 19; Next.js projects can use it as a client component.

Where it works well
Add a deliberate confirmation gesture to an occasional action, with clear cancellation.
Reduced motion
The timer still requires a deliberate hold; text reports progress and the fill changes only at completion.
Things to know
Demonstrates a local archive state. Pausing cancels any hold and disables confirmation until resumed. Reduced motion preserves the full hold time. Offer another confirmation method if a sustained press is unsuitable for your users.
